Layby Guide: Secure Your Christmas Gifts with Ease
Welcome to our Layby Guide! We understand that Christmas can be a busy time, so we’re here to help you secure your favourite products with our convenient layby option.
Layby allows you to reserve a product and pay for it in instalments over a set period. You then receive your goods at the end of the payment period.
How Layby Works
- Deposit: A minimum deposit of 25% of the product's total price is required at the time of layby.
- Payment Period: You have 3 months to complete the payments.
- Final Payment: All layby payments must be completed by the end of the layby period to reeive your items.
Important Christmas Informaton
- Christmas Orders: If you wish to receive your layby items in time for Christmas, all payments must be completed by December 24th. Our team can help you calculate a payment schedule to ensure you don’t miss out!
Steps to Layby with The Computer Man
- Select Your Product: Choose the item(s) you want to layby.
- Speak to a Staff Member: Inform our team that you’d like to set up a layby. They will assist you with the process.
- Make Your Deposit: Pay the required 25% deposit to secure your layby.
- Payment Plan: You will receive a layby agreement detailing the total price, deposit paid, and remaining balance. Keep this for your records.
- Complete Your Payments: Make payments towards your layby over the next 3 months. You can pay in-store during regular business hours.
Payment Options
- Payments can be made using cash, credit/debit cards, or store credit.
- You can make multiple payments within the layby period, but ensure the total amount is paid by the end of the 3 months.

A: Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss any changes.
Q: What happens if I don’t complete my payments on time?
A: If the layby is not fully paid by the end of the 3 months, the layby may be cancelled, and your deposit may be forfeited.
Can I cancel my layby?
A: Yes, you can cancel your layby at any time, but please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
